PreSonus Digital Audio Workstation Sets Faderport V2 Editorial Review
PreSonus FaderPort, DAW Mix Music Production Controller With Studio One Artist, Ableton Live Lite, Software Bundle For Recording, Streaming And Podcasting | Single-channel Motorized Fader, Works With Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, Fender Studio Pro License Included; The PreSonus FaderPort is a well-constructed single-channel DAW controller that enhances your mixing experience, especially with Studio One, where its native support shines the most. Users appreciate the touch-sensitive motorized fader for precise control over levels and automation, leading to an improved workflow and a nostalgic feel reminiscent of traditional mixing. Its innovative session navigator allows for seamless navigation through projects, making it easier to handle transport controls and effects. However, some users have pointed out its limited functionality with Logic Pro X, where it might not offer full control for plugins, requiring more complex workarounds. In general, it's a robust addition for those getting started in music production or wanting to streamline their setup.
