Does the rover have a motor or push only to move?
Answer: It has a motor. Takes lots of batteries but these sets are super fun! -

Love this, but buttons stick. One component also not working and resister feels hot. (Batteries new/properly installed) Any ideas for help?

Is this too easy for a 14 year old?
Answer: My 9 & 14 yr old put one set together. Following the booklet, they are easy to put together. So, the rest of depend on his/her interest in playing with the set once built or creatively and strategically trying to make other circuit combinations. -

Does this include working solar panels? or is it just a fancy battery operated building toy? 9 triple aaa batteries is a lot.
Answer: They are not real working solar panels. We understand the comment on the required amount of batteries, but it will be worth it! -

Is the charging station supposed to move? What does the on/off button do?
Answer: I believe the On/Off button on the charging station is only to charge the small rover that has the rechargeable battery in it. Plug the cable and Turn that On to start charging. -

2 of the components have stopped working, even with fresh batteries. We've had it less than a week. Has this happened to anyone else?
