Lippert Smart Jack One-Touch Automatic Power Electric Trailer A-Frame Tongue, 3,500 lbs. Auto-Hitch Memory, Integrated LED Lights, Backlit Controls,

The Lippert Components 643589 Smart Jack Black appears to have mixed reviews from customers, with some praising its automatic features that allow for finishing hooking up while the jack works, while others have had issues with the membrane controller falling apart and receiving jacks that are cracked upon arrival. One customer stated that they had to return their jack due to it being broken upon arrival and another had issues with their jack going all the way down before popping the fuse and crushing anything under their RV. Another reviewer recommends purchasing a cover for the jack as the membrane controller is not designed to be in the elements. However, many reviewers have praised the quality of the jack and have had positive experiences with it. One reviewer mentioned that they installed the jack rotated by 90 degrees to allow the tailgate to open, and found it to be an easy install. They also purchased a cover to prevent the membrane operator buttons from degrading in the sun. Another reviewer found the jack to be much slower than two jacks they previously owned, but that the automatic features made up for this shortcoming. They also stated that the jack was very quiet, and they would purchase another if they ever broke it. Overall, customers seem to either love or hate this product, with some experiencing issues with the controller and others praising its automatic features and quality.
