Answer: I never run my vacuum on high suction. That’s eats up the battery. You can also buy another battery, so that there is a spare when you run out of power. -

Answer: You can mount the charging doc on the wall if you prefer. Yes, you will need to put holes into your wall for this option. You can also just plug the charger into the outlet and the other end to your battery or you can take the battery off of the vacuum to sit on the counter as you charge it. These options would not require you to mount it onto the wall.
