Although it could be Considered for juvenile Eastern Box Turtles, younger box turtles need more protein, so different types of live worms may be a better option. The product is not recommended for Sulcata Tortoise because they are strictly vegetarians. The best diet for them is dark leafy greens, fruit, and other veggies. Sliders occasionally eat plants, but they are carnivores, so a diet of fish is recommended. Box turtles love the Rep-Cal Box Turtle Food, and it has everything they need to stay healthy. It is an excellent product that is worth the purchase. The pellets for this product sink in water and should not be fed to small turtles.
