CASTELLI Jackets Editorial Review
The Castelli Men's Alpha ROS Jacket has garnered a positive reception from customers, who Consistently praise its performance across various winter riding conditions. Many users express that the jacket exceeds their expectations regarding warmth and versatility. Designed for a range of temperatures, the jacket effectively keeps riders comfortable in the low twenties with the right layering underneath. Reviewers indicate that it performs well in moderately cold and wet conditions, though they note that it may not be fully waterproof during heavy rain. The fit of the jacket has been highlighted as another strong point, attributed to Castelli's commitment to quality and attention to detail. However, users recommend Considering size carefully due to the tight, Euro-influenced sizing; some found themselves needing to size up for comfort when layering. While it maintains a snug fit that prevents excessive flapping—a desirable feature for active cycling—some users did report challenges with breathability, particularly during long rides in colder weather. Despite these minor concerns, many customers advocate for the jacket's overall functionality and style. With these factors in mind, numerous users have noted that the Alpha ROS has replaced several of their other winter jackets, standing out as a multifunctional piece ideal for serious cyclists. They regard it as a worthy investment, suggesting that even at full price, the jacket is a valuable addition to any winter cycling wardrobe. **
