This VESA mount adapter is a solid product which does what it is intended to do; it replaces the removable stand of the monitor enabling it to be mounted to a VESA arm/stand. However, it is not compatible with HP M27fw and only supports landscape orientation, not portrait. Although the product pictures may be misleading as the product does not come with the attachment or stand. On the plus side, it is easy to install and works perfectly with HP monitors.
