Answer: The plastic bottle is sealed, but the pills are loose inside and not blister packed. Easily accessible. -

Answer: They are smooth, but not gel coated. They are easy to swallow. They have like a green herbal look and smell herbal (natural). I do drink a LOT of water when I take one to get the taste out, BUT these are THE best I have ever used and not traumatic like some others. I take one at bedtime and usually go before lunch sometime. (sorry if TMI). I was give these in the hospital (CVICU) after a major surgery and LOTS of pain meds (morphine pump etc) due to the constipation caused by any sort of pain med. I was given 1 pill every evening. Now I use them PRN along with Colace as a softener just when needed. I tried the D brand and OMG I took the dose on the box and almost ended up in the hospital. These are night and day from any others I have tried. Good Luck!

Senokot is recommended by a doctor to relieve Constipation. It is easy to swallow and does not cause serious after-effects. Although taking it may take about 11 hours before the effect kicks in, it does not cause gut-wrenching cramps or desperation. It works daily and can improve the feeling of the intestines. However, some people might find it not effective or may prefer trying a different type. Senekot comes in a larger quantity than groceries but it is not gluten-free, chewable, or blister-packed. The plastic bottle is sealed, and the pills are loose inside, making them easily accessible.
