Pull cord is attached but can be trimmed shorter or removed. It can be dimmed with a wall switch that has a dimmer switch. It can be used outdoors if there is an electrical box. Installation is hard and requires longer screws from the hardware store as the ones included are not long enough. There is no glass, just cages around the bulbs. The light cord is very long and might need to be trimmed. The product is a bit expensive, but it has an authentic look and good lighting.
