Answer: Two traps are included in each pack of Gonzo Surefire Mole & Gopher Traps. -

When the trap is set, what is the distance between the arms that trap the gopher?
Answer: The arms cozy up against the walls of the tunnel, about the same size as the average gopher tunnel. The trigger is made of a thinner wire and the gopher hits it with its nose, setting off the arms with great force to entrap the gopher. Typically, the gopher is immediately killed. -

Can this trap be used for groundhogs?
Answer: They work well for gophers, but since we don't have groundhogs in our area, I can't comment on their effectiveness for groundhogs. -

What size hole does this trap fit in?
Answer: About a 2.5 inch hole when the trap is set and the business end of the trap is inserted.
