What ma can each 9v handle?
Answer: It has a total output of 1000 mA across the 4 outlets, so it just depends on what you connect to each outlet. It is not setup with a maximum draw for each outlet. Most digital pedals are draw between 250-500mA each, and things like Overdrives, Compressors, and other analog pedals generally draw well under 100 mA each. my pedals draw only 100ma each......is this power supply too much for them ?
Answer: Electronic devices only draw as much power in Amps as they need to operate , so a power supply with more Amperage than a device needs is no problem. You only have to make sure the Voltage and the Polarity is the same as the pedal. Too much voltage can burn up a pedal, too much amperage only makes it happy. The X4 has four individual 9 volt/.4-1 Amp connectors. That just means each output will supply a minimum of .4 Amps and a maximum of 1 Amp to each pedal. A 100mA pedal requires a minimum of 100 mAmps to operate but more amps won't hurt it because it will only draw 100 mAmps. If a power supply had less than 100 mAmps output, your pedal would just not turn on. Hope that helps. -

Which power supply is needed for the x8? and i have one 18v pedal, can i use a 2 into 1 pedal cable to get the power for that pedal?
Answer: The x8 requires a minimum 12v 400mA to function. 2 12v 200mA outputs joined together would be sufficient to power the unit. If you go with a stand-alone power supply for the x8, be SURE that the power is center Negative, otherwise the polarity won’t allow the x8 to power on -

Can the wall wart handle 220v?

Question:
Does this come with 3M Dual Lock for mounting and pedal connecting cables?
Answer: It only came with the cables needed for powering pedals. Nothing for mounting. It’s the “expansion kit,” so the AC power adapter is NOT included as well. You won’t be able to use it as a stand-alone power supply as is. That was fine for my needs since I was using this in conjunction with the ISO-5, which can power the X4. -
