The Nady SMPS-2X is a 2-channel 48V phantom power supply that can be used to power condenser microphones. It does not run on batteries and comes with an 18-volt power supply. It has two XLR inputs and outputs, and a stereo 3.5mm output for video cameras. It is easy to use, has clear sound and is capable of powering a range of microphones. The device is not meant for connecting to a tape deck and does not have RCA inputs. It can be used to connect up to two condenser mics to a mixer and will work well in home studio settings.
