The spearhead's socket has an internal diameter of 1 inch and can accommodate a 1-inch shaft. This product is not sold with a shaft. The item is hand-forged by Windlass Steelcrafts and made of high carbon steel. The sides of the blade are not sharp, only the tip is. Overall, the product seems to be of mixed quality. Some customers report issues such as rust, pitting, bending, and breaking of the blade. Others report being satisfied with their purchase, describing it as well-made and of good quality. Some have had to grind down the blade to get it sharp.
